CBTU looks forward to working together to advance policies that will improve the lives of unionized skilled trades workers and build the national trade and energy infrastructure needed to ensure Canadian economic independence.\u201d<\/p><p>\u201cAs Steven MacKinnon transitions to a new role as Leader of the Government in the House of Commons, I\u2019d like to thank him on behalf of Canada\u2019s Building Trades Unions for his strong support of the Building Trades during his time as Minister of Labour and Minister of Jobs and Families.
